Living Room
The beautiful pastel yellow of the Living Room offers a breathtaking and cheerful welcome to guests upon first entering Knollwood House. The room’s focal points are the fireplace and baby grand piano which offer guests an intimate and charming setting for casual conversation and camaraderie. The Living Room also has a comfortable sitting arrangement in the front which is the perfect spot to watch a sporting event on the large screen, flat panel television.
Dining Room
The Dining Room is the center of activity for Knollwood House. This room has an exquisite flame mahogany dining table that is capable of seating 12-14 guests. There is also a smaller table placed by the front window with a beautiful view of the gardens which offers an ideal setting for a romantic gourmet breakfast. The Dining Room has a fireplace and an elegant crystal chandelier which are complemented by the period antiques and oriental rugs.
Sun Room
The Sun Room is a favorite of guests and the owners alike. This cheerful, sunlit room overlooks the golf course and is the perfect spot to start the day with the daily newspaper and a steaming cup of coffee or gourmet tea.
The Grounds
The grounds of Knollwood House are as elegant and graceful as the house itself. Knollwood House is situated on the 15th fairway of the famous Donald Ross designed course at Mid Pines. The grounds are a welcome respite from the fast-paced world, flowing with the azaleas, holly trees, long leaf pines and towering magnolias, opening up to the dramatic views of the beautiful Mid Pines Golf Course. A special setting is the porch adjoining the Dining Room. Here, guests can sit in the swing or relax on the comfortable outdoor furniture and take in the views of the garden and golf course.
